During his years of service at the ISF, he occupied various positions including but not limited to Deputy Head of Research and Study Division, Head of Beirut Information Bureau at the Information Department, Head of the Special Criminal Investigations Division at the Judicial Police Unit, and Commander of the Information Department.

Major General Osman participated in many conferences in Lebanon and abroad where he received several certificates mainly in the fields of counter intelligence, fighting against terrorism, crisis management to mitigate the effects of terrorist activities, and the fight against cybercrimes etc.

Major General Osman graduated as a Lieutenant from the Military School.
