Omar Al Barghouthi is currently IBM's Gulf & Levant Security Services Leader with 13 years of regional technology experience in the IT/Information Security and Networking domains. Prior to IBM, Mr. Barghouthi worked for several multinational, government and semi government organizations in UAE.

Strategy and Information Consulting have been his focus for the last seven years, Mr. Barghouthi holds several certifications in security and management, CISSP, CISM, ITIL Expert, Six Sigma, CCIE. He is a veteran expert in helping clients build better strategies in information security which align with business strategies; ensuring preserving their most valuable assets.

Mr. Barghouthi holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the American University of Sharjah.
